Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in the charitable works of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
We have been serving the Salem and Mid-Willamette Valley are since 1957. The tradition of the St Vincent dePaul is to meet the current and most urgent needs in the communities we serve.
Presently, our focus is on assisting individuals and families with basic needs of food, rent, utilities, plus services for our homeless neighbors.
The Society volunteers are called Vincentians who faithfully give their time and talents to serve those who come to us in need. Vincentians primary gift is that of listening this helps Vincentians learn how to best give assistance.
Everyone with an emergency assistance need is welcome at St. Vincent de Paul regardless of race, faith or creed. We are also ADA compliant and accessible.
Although we do not deliver, if you are homebound, you may send a caregiver or friend with a note of permission, stating your name, DOB and address, to come pick up a food box for you.
